How to Become a Contributor

Anyone can contribute, even you! All you need to do is create a free account, if you haven't already and provide info on movies/people that either don't exist yet, or are missing vital information.

Here are the ways you can contribute:

Leave a Review/Rating

Have you seen any of our movies? Let the world know what you thought of them and help others make recommendations.

All users can post reviews/ratings on movie titles exactly once. You can leave just a rating if you don't feel like writing, but all written reviews must have a rating.

  1. Find the movie title of your choice by searching using the box at the top of every page.
  2. If it doesn't exist, you can create it first.
  3. If it exists, go to the page and click on the 'Rate/Review' link in the link box.
  4. If you have already reviewed the title, you will be redirected to your existing review, which you can change for 1 week, after which you will not be able to edit it.

Note: All reviews must be as spoiler-free as possible. If not, please warning for possible spoilers.

Adding or Editing a Movie

Adding a Movie: Before starting, please verify that the movie doesn't already exist by using the search box at the top of every page. If it doesn't exist, do the following:

  1. Go the Create New Title page.
  2. Enter all the data you have available. The 'title' and the 'language' must be provided.
  3. When you're done, click 'Save and Add Credits' to input the cast and crew.
  4. Once again, when entering people's names, make sure it exists. If you don't know the name of their characters in the movie, just leave the character box blank.
  5. Save your changes. You will be taken to the movie page.

Editing an Existing Movie: Once you identify a movie that needs its information updated (you can do this by searching), locate the 'Edit Movie' button on its page.

  1. Click 'Edit Movie'.
  2. You will have the option of editing the movie's details, or you can edit credits, under 'Other Movie Tasks'.
Adding or Editing a Person

Adding a Person: Before starting, verify that the person's profile doesn't already exist by using the search box at the top of every page. If it doesn't exist, do the following:

  1. Go the Create New Person page.
  2. All the fields are optional except for name. You must enter the person's first and last name, or their stage name. For example, 'Basketmouth' or 'Clint da Drunk'.
  3. When you're done, click 'Save and Add Credits' to input the movies the person was a part of.
  4. Once again, when entering people's names, make sure it exists. If you don't know the name of their characters in the movie, just leave the character box blank.
  5. Save your changes. You will be taken to the movie page.

Editing an Existing Person: Once you identify a movie that needs its information updated (you can do this by searching), locate the 'Edit Movie' button on its page.

Adding or Editing a Company

Companies are entities involved in a movie's production like distributors, caterers, special effects houses, editing etc. They are not people

Adding a Company: Before starting, verify that the company profile doesn't already exist by using the search box at the top of every page. If it doesn't exist, do the following:

  1. Go the Create New Company page.
  2. All the fields are optional except for name and services provided.
  3. When you're done, click 'Save'.
  4. To add credits to companies, visit the profile for the movies, if they exist, or create new profiles for them.

Editing an Existing Company: Once you identify a company that needs its information updated (you can do this by searching), locate the 'Edit Company' button on its page.

Note: All additions are subject to approval and will be deleted if inaccurate.
