Bayo Bankole, popularly known as Boy Alinco, needs no introduction in the Nigerian movie industry, He featured in Papa Ajasco and Company, one of the leading Nigerian soap opera.

Born in Ebute-Meta, Lagos State,Nigeria. He is a native of Ogun State who had his primary school education at the African Church Bethlehem Ebute-Meta, Lagos. Attended St. Timothy College, Onike Iwaya, Yaba. Enrolled at the Nigerian Railway Technical School, Loko, Ebute-Meta, where He studied Aviation Airconditioning for three years and worked briefly with a Nigeria Radio Station before he eventually gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, where He studied Dramatic Arts.

He started acting Since 1990 and was part of the movie titled (Eda) which led to the movie (Owo Blow) that brought him to limelight, a movie directed by Tade Ogidan in 1992
