Daniel John Tukura – popularly known as Tee Jay Dan, – is a writer and documentary filmmaker who initially trained as Screenwriter with the New York Film Academy.

Tee Jay Dan has participated in several writing and filmmaking workshops including the Bold and Beautiful Literary Academy, the Africa International Film Festival Directing class. He was among the twenty-five (25) Screenwriters that participated in the inaugural Cinem4Change Workshop organized by Afrinolly/Ford Foundation. His screen credits includes, among others, The Seamstress, The Movement, Mrs. & Mrs. Johnson, and his 2016 award winning documentary film, Dancing Mask.

Tee Jay Dan is also the Publisher and Digital Editor at Praxis Magazine for Arts and Literature.
