A dynamic and ambitious professional filmmaker and poet; an avid supporter of arts and culture in Nigeria with a passionate commitment to filmmaking and production spanning over seventeen years of active practice. He is astutely focused on the goal of creating positive image for Nigeria and effecting positive change in Africa through arts, culture and the motion picture industry.

DICKSON NNAMDI IROEGBU is a member of Prof. YEMANE DEMISSIE (New York UNIVERSITY) Alumni Comrades, trained in filmmaking and social development by the US Embassy in Nigeria, a Member of DIRECTORS’ GUILD OF NIGERIA since 2005, as well as many other creative institutions within and outside of Nigeria. An African Business School (ABS) certified member on Strategic Corporate Administration.

He is the initiator/director of PROJECT CHILD SOLDIER FILM, a thought provoking international film production currently being put together by an NGO he founded in 2013 to discourage child labour and child soldiering in West Africa. He has carved a niche for himself and has succeeded as one of Nollywood’s prime movers and shakers. He is also the founder of Dickson Iroegbu and Associates and the Executive Director, Greenwood Dialogue Foundation, (GDF) a Non Governmental Organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission to promote dialogue mechanisms for conflict resolution. He is also the MD/CEO, Teamwork Studios Limited (TSL), a company committed to delivering cutting edge PR and Media Consultancy services.
