Frank Artus
Isa Artus, better known by his screen name Frank Artus is a Liberian actor. Born by an Egyptian father and Liberian mother, Artus who many mistakes for a Ghanaian was born in Egypt but relocated to Liberia when he was 12 years old along with his brother and sister. His mother had worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) while his father an international businessman. Frank attended high school in Tanama, Liberia before heading to African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Universty in Monrovia where he studied Human Resources. He also has a Diploma in Computer Engineering.
Frank has always had a passion for acting; he moved to Ghana in 2009 with the sole aim of joining the Ghanaian movie industry. The first movie he did ‘Who Loves Me’ shot him to limelight. He had established himself in Ghana before moving on to Nollywood, which is why most people may think he is Ghanaian.
As well as acting, Frank writes scripts and has his own movie production company. His first film Juetey, a film directed and starred by him won 3 movie awards by 2008 for Best Writer, Best Supporting Actor and Movie of the Year.
