Hanks Anuku was born in Ibadan. He attended Loyola College Ibadan and Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, graduating in 1981, before moving to the United States of America. He started acting featuring in a first movie titled "The Skeleton". He is now a special adviser to the Delta State Governor, Uduaghan, on Tourism and Entertainment.
