She started out as an air hostess with the now defunct Okada Airline, but caught the acting bug when Zeb Ejiro gave her a role in the well celebrated but equally defunct soap opera, "Ripples" in the early 1990. She is from Kogi State and of the Igbira tribe.

The 2007 Afro Hollywood Award winner as the best actress in Yoruba language and another at the Afro Dublin Movie Awards also in 2007, these gave her a highpoint into her career. She is married.
