Gift Uwame popularly known Muma Gee was born in Rivers State, in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. She is an actress and a singer. Muma Gee sings in Hausa, Yoruba, Ibo as well as her native dialect Ekpeye and English Language. Inspired by life growing up in the restive Delta region, the lyrics of her songs are mostly centered on peace, love, harmony and female empowerment. She is known for her stage artistry, which is enhanced by her aboriginal form of costuming that makes a pungent statement about African culture, flora and fauna.

Muma Gee who is also known as the Afrotastic Diva is the founder and leader of the Black Attraction Band of Africa, now known as Afrotastic Band. She has featured in quite a number of movies.
