Peju Ashaye comes across just as the regular lady in town, appearing on screen as a brilliant movie star. She attained a Higher National Diploma degree at the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State. Then, became a member of Odunfa Caucus of Association of Yoruba Theater Arts Practitioners (ANTP) in 1995, where she learnt the basics of Yoruba Theater Arts.

Peju Ashaye started professionally in the movie industry in 1996 as a secondary school student. She was brought to limelight in a movie produced by Mide Funmi-Martins, titled “Adabi”.
