R.D BAWA is a gifted and trained developmental filmmaker who has over 15 years of experience working as a media professional, content, project, and program designer/developer.

He has actively participated and led the development, creation, and launch of several developmental and commercial projects including two television stations (SAVANNAH TV SOKOTO and AREWA24), two radio stations (DANDAL KURA RADIO INTERNATIONAL) and (SAWABA FM HADEIJIA), several other radio and television programs, many humanitarian and social behavioral change projects.

Recently, BAWA directed his first commercial film project "ABARWA RAI". He has also worked as the first executive producer of the famous TV series "DADIN KOWA", as senior producer of EQUAL ACCESS "FARAR TATTABARA" projects. He has written several projects for BBC media action, Population media center, PPFA, UNICEF, DFID, USAID, NEIRI, and lots of other top-notch organizations.
