his ex-naval officer whose full name is Rich Odichinma Azu hails from Owerri in Imo State. He joined the movie industry in 1994 and his first movie was titled Shattered Dreams while the movie Ritualsbrought him to limelight. He has featured in over 120 movies.

This talented actor is also a singer and songwriter. In 1997, he won the Best Gospel Artiste Award at the Nigerian Song Festival (NISOFES). Rich plays secular, country and reggae music and he is good with all types of musical instruments.
