Shade Omoniyi popularly known as Lepa shandy, a name gotten from a movie role which bought her fame. She came into limelight some years ago with a lot of promising acting talents and determination to contribute her own quota to the development of Nigerian and Yoruba movie industry.

Shade Omoniyi attended Isolo Comprehensive High School, Lagos, for her secondary education and she is a graduate from the University of Lagos where she studied Data Processing. She also attended the School of Agriculture Cosmetology.

She started out into the Nollywood industry in 1995, but first as a make up artist under the tutelage of Peju Aroyewun, and then to the Lagos State Council of Arts and Culture. She is currently divorced.
