Tony Umez is a Nollywood actor, producer, director and a philanthropist. He is known for his romantic roles. He was born on 23rd August, 1970 in Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently 46 years old. He is very talented in acting. His father is from Ogidi in Anambra State, Nigeria while his mother is from Cross River State, Nigeria. Tony Umez completed both his primary and secondary school education in Lagos State, Nigeria.

After his college education he proceeded to University of Lagos and graduated with a bachelor’s degree English. After which he went further in the same University and obtain his master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy. In 1993 he joined the Nollywood and in 1994 he rose to fame after starring in the blockbuster movie “Died Wretched”

He has acted in over 100 movies which includes Died Wretched, Billionaires Club, The Preacher’s Wife, Blood Sisters, etc. In 1999 Tony Umez got married to his wife Patsy, a girl he met on a movie set. The marriage is blessed with beautiful kids.
