Zainab O Sheriff is a Sierra Leonean fashion model based in Istanbul, Turkey. Although her birth certificate states that she was born on 23rd August, 1985, her mother told her that she was born on 22nd July, 1985. Because of this, Zainab celebrates both days as her birthday. Zainab grew up in the eastern part of Freetown and had always wanted to be a model for as long as she could remember.

Zainab relocated to Turkey to join her then Turkish boyfriend whom she married and to pursue her modelling career. Since moving to Turkey, she has worked with designers such as Christian Loboutin, Cemil Ipekci, Arzu Kaprul, Marie Claire magazine and many more.

Zainab received fame in Africa after competing in the 7th season of popular show, Big Brother Africa. Although she was disqualified from the show for provoking a fellow contestant in a fight, she is one of the most popular contestants from Season 7. She has since produced and acted in her first movie titled ‘Ghetto Queen’.
