Awesome movie by Genevieve but I didn't get to hear most of what was conversed in Igbo. The story literally depicts the typical realities of a Nigerian, a family one at that and it explains one of the most fundamental rules of business in Nigeria, always learn from the streets. All in all, why I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because I expect more drama especially from Daniel and the act played by Kanayo O Kanayo. It was not edgy that much but this is one more movie to awesomeness.
Amazing work of story telling not dramatize.
Great story well acted🙌🏾 And for a first time director,it was an excellent production. One of the best from nollywood if not the best so far . The acting and quality of this movie 🎥 👌🏾❤️.very simple African story well told. We should be proud she can only get better from here.
The movie is interesting. It has a great story line which shows the challenges of being an entrepreneur I.e. one being faced with how to solve the challenge of a huge debt that could cause bankruptcy and the ability to explore options when considering a solution. As with any Nigerian movie, there were a few scenes that didn't make sense.for example, the scene where the external auditors came. I am an external auditor and that is not how we behave so it felt 'unreal"*. A major drawback is that there ara a lot of scenes where igbo was spoken which made it seem like an igbo movie and to make matters worse, there was no subtitle. People were so annoyed in the cinema, people kept hissing and making comments that their money should be returned. It doesn't make sense to make so much noise about a movie that people can't understand and flow with.
