Amen Imasuen was born on the 3rd of August 1979 into the family of chief and Mrs Godwin Imasuen in Benin City, Edo state. Went to ugbowo primary school, Adolor collage , both In Benin City,, later proceeded to the prestigious Auchi polytechnic, Auchi where he study mass communication... He started as production assistant under Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen where he was trained as a filmmaker, he made his first full length movie at the age of 22 year..
