Late JT Tom West was one of Nollywood's talented actor and movie director. Apart from his acting skills, Tom West was also a musician and dancer. He had a musical group and did a commercial for NTA 2 Channel 5 entitled "Your Reach Out Station".

He featured in a first movie titled "Glamour Girls" and came to limelight after his role in the movie "State of Emergency".
In his days, he was fondly called "J.T." and famous with his ponytail hair style. He was a single father of one who hailed from Rivers State. Died Thursday, September 28, 2006 following a ghastly auto accident while returning very late at night from a movie location. May His soul rest in peace(R.I.P).
