Naa is a native of Teshie in Accra. She was born on November 24 1988 to Mr Paul Mensah-Doku and Sarah Mensah-Doku. She is the second in a family of four. She attended the Daras School then Benkum Secondary School in Larteh.

She started acting after she accompanied a friend if hers to an auditioning. She ended up getting the role herself.

She is currently working permanently with an events and production company Charter House, organizes of Ghana Music Awards, as a TV presenter and producer.
