A Ghanaian movie producer/writer/director and actor.

Born on the 16th of March 1977, Shirley hails from from Kwahu Pepease (Eastern Region) Ghana. She attended Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School. Obtained her "A" level certificate in 1996.

In 2000, alongside her job at the radio station, she took a degree course at the National Film and Television (NAFTI). August 2003, she registered her company, Sparrows Productions (also an Advertising and Television firm) which she later took charge of after her graduation.

She graduated with a first class honors in Film Directing.

In March 2010, she gave birth to a lovely baby boy.
