Hails from Ediba Abi Local Government Area in Cross River State. She is a graduate of Business Administration from the Polytechnic Calabar.

Vivian started acting when she was in the university from stage drama. Her first movie titled "Black Powder" was in 1998 but before then, she had done quite a number of soap operas.

She speaks Yoruba, Hausa, Ibo and Efik fluently.

She is married.
