The movie opens up to a joyous occasion as Anastasia (Okawa Shaznay) and her husband, William (Desmond Elliott) celebrated their second anniversary. Their union appeared to be one of bliss but soon after, Anastasia murdered William in cold blood.

When detectives responded to the crime, Anastasia stated that the dead body in her home wasn’t her husband but was that of a stranger that invaded her home with the intent to harm her.

The plot thickened when it was revealed that not only did William have another wife and three children, he had also carried out some unscrupulous acts. The other wife identified William’s corpse while Anastasia remained adamant about a mistaken identity.
