Daniel and Isabel (Majid Michel & Lerato Modise) are young couple that planned to marry. Daniel worked as a chef for Dare Lawson (Femi Jacobs) and Isabel was unemployed. Her dream job was to work for an art gallery but she couldn’t find work in her field.

Dare Lawson was a wealthy businessman and he happened to be in search of a personal assistant. Daniel saw it as an opportunity for Isabel to work and he coaxed her into taking the job.

Dare was instantly impressed with Isabel but when Daniel introduced her, he failed to mention that they were engaged and Dare was led to believe that the two were just friends. Daniel and Isabel kept their relationship a secret and as a consequence it left the door open for Dare to pursue Isabel.

Isabel and Dare spent several late evenings working together in his home. Dare developed a personal interest in her while Daniel succumbed to jealousy.

As time went on Dare placed his trust in Isabel and as his assistant she was privileged to his personal banking information. She shared his passwords with Daniel and the two devised a scheme to withdraw enough money from his account to leave the country and start life anew. The plan went into action but one of them suffered a guilty conscience.
