Baba Amina played by Udoka Oyeka decides to marry off his 13-year-old daughter to solve his family’s financial issues. One afternoon Mama Ngozi (Oboli), Madame 12:30 (Uche Jombo) and their friends device come up with a stirring strategy to help Mama Amina (Ufuoma McDermott) protect ‘their’ child. The movie adopts the theme of the ‘girl not bride’ campaign of 2013.
Julius Agwu and Kenneth Okonkwo who both play husbands to Madame 12:30 and Mama Ngozi are frustrated by the antics of their wives. The strike goes beyond their homes and their following in the community grows. This gets the attention of the wife of senator played by Chioma Akpotha who takes things to another level. Their interpretation of the lead characters most especially Okonkwo and Kenneth is guaranteed to get you laughing out loud. The dialogue between Okonkwo and Oboli is absolutely adorable. Watch out for Kehinde Bankole’s character, she’s subtly cheeky.
