At the height of the slave trade era, a hundred Igbo slaves, betrayed by their own, choose to commit mass suicide at sea rather than face a life of drudgery as slaves.

Hundreds of years later, their descendants must deal with the consequences of this gross injustice as the aggrieved slaves return to take their revenge.
